For Kate Ford, Grow Beauty Co. was never meant to be just a salon.
It was created from a deeper vision: to build a space that felt calm, beautiful, intentional, and truly caring - for both the clients who walk through the door and the stylists building their careers within it.
Kate’s love for hair began at a young age, after spending time in her childhood friend’s mom’s salon and feeling drawn to the creativity, energy, and transformation of that environment. That early fascination became a career path when she began cosmetology school in 2008, and over the years she became known for her meticulous colour work, seamless extension integration, and her ability to create results that feel polished, natural, and deeply personalized.
As her career evolved, so did her idea of what a salon could be. Kate wanted more than beautiful outcomes - she wanted to create an experience where people felt comfortable, supported, and genuinely cared for. A place where beauty was approached with intention, where clients could slow down and feel nurtured, and where stylists could grow in a way that felt fulfilling and aligned.
